Maksiuta Anastasia (June 13, 1998) is a singer, songwriter and professional classical pianist.

Anastasia began studying music at the age of 5 years in the children's music school № 35 in Moscow. From the very beginning Anastasia showed interest and ability in playing the piano.

In 2007, Anastasia entered the second grade class at the Central Music School of the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in the class of Bogdanova Natalia.

During her studies at the Central Music School, she actively participated in the school concerts in Moscow and other Russian cities as well as in the cities, and countries abroad. For example, in 2010 she performed solo, and duet pieces, in halls like Pushkin House in London.

In November 2011, Anastasia has successfully passed the qualifying round and became one of the winners of the 12th International television competition "The Nutcracker" established by the Russian TV channel "Culture". Successful performance in this prestigious competition has opened new opportunities for her growth as the young pianist. Competition was followed by the performances in major concert halls around the country, such as the Great, Small and Rachmaninov's Halls of Moscow Conservatory, International House of Music, and others. After the contest Anastasia was invited to become the fellow of the "Vladimir Spivakov International Charity Foundation".

In April 2012, with the support of the foundation, Anastasia was invited to tour 7 cities in Germany playing solos and duets. In September 2013, under the festival of Ilya and Emilia Kabakov "Ship of Tolerance", Anastasia has performed in the concert halls of Moscow and New York, as well as in many other concerts under the patronage of the Spivakov foundation in Russia and abroad. During 2014-15 Anastasia led the series of concerts as a solo artist as well as a duet performer under the Moscow Philharmonic and Russian TV channel "Culture" project “Alexander Ghindin presents: "The Nutcracker" competition winners”.

In 2014, Anastasia successfully performed a Suite by Manuel De Falla "Noches en los jardines de España" with the National Philharmonic Orchestra under the direction of Sergey Kondrashev.

In January 2016, together with the Volgograd academic orchestra under the baton of Aleksander Polyanichko, Anastasia played Rachmaninov's Piano Concerto No. 2 at the Central Concert Hall of Volgograd with a great success. 

In July 2016, Anastasia took part at the festival “Stars at Rhine” (Basel, Switzerland) where she has successfully performed Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 13, and won first prize, which led to a solo recital in Basel in 2018. 

In 2017, Anastasia was invited to perform as a guest artist in the conductor competition with the Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra in Vilnius, Lithuania.

In April 2017, Anastasia performed W.A. Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 13 at the Great Hall at Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory

In May 2017, a few weeks later, Anastasia performed Rachmaninov's 2nd Piano Concerto with the National Military Orchestra in the same hall.

 That same spring, she also performed Rachmaninov's 2nd concerto at the legendary Musikverein Hall (Vienna, Austria).

In September 2019, Anastasia gave a few solo performances in the South Shore Cultural Center, and at the Navy Pier  (Chicago, USA), during the “The Ship of Tolerance” festival as a classical pianist with pieces by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninov, and as a singer-songwriter. 

Maksiuta wrote a hymn, called “Pure Love”, that was premiered at the final concert of the festival. 

In September 2019, Anastasia had her first live performance as a singer-songwriter at the Maryland Night Live Show with her original song.

Throughout 2019 and 2020, Anastasia has participated in different performances and events as a solo pianist and a collaborative pianist. For example, she premiered a piece called “Nota Roja” by Diana Syrse for flute and piano. Anastasia has also participated in various piano show cases and music events from the School of Music in the University of Maryland.

In 2017, Anastasia became a student in the studio of Professor Larissa Dedova at the School of Music in the University of Maryland as a piano performance major. In 2021, Anastasia graduated as a Bachelor of Music.

In 2023, Anastasia graduated as Master of Music in the University of Maryland as a piano performance major. Now, Anastasia is based in DMV area, while living in Washington D.C., she has performed in halls and museums such as National Gallery of Art, Arts Club of Washington, and other places as a solo artist, and as a member of “Artemesia” trio.

In May 2018, Anastasia released her first solo classical album “PIANO” that was recorded in the Clarice recording studio in Maryland with the pieces by Chopin, Debussy and Rachmaninov. This CD is available in all the musical platforms.

In 2016 Anastasia started to write her own music. She is an author of all of her songs (music, piano parts, and lyrics).

In 2018, Maksiuta became a member of the Grammy U program as a student - composer in Washington DC.

 In 2018, Maksiuta started to record her first songs, with the composer, and a music producer Pavel Esenin. In 2020, Maksiuta debuted as a singer. In April, under the stage name MAKSIUTA, she released her first song "Universe", which has more than 700,000 views on YouTube.

In December 2020, Maksiuta performed live for the first time as a singer - dancer at the Fashion TV awards with the song

“Planes". 

In Febrary 2021, Maksiuta gave her first hour and half show as a pop artist with the original set of songs, directed by the choreographers Yana Abraimova, Andrey Tsar, Andrey Glushik, and Polina Bokova.

In March 2021, Maksiuta was debuted on the TV, live, with her Russian single “Hold my hand”.

At the beginning of 2022, Anastasia was selected as one of the top 16 best singers-songwriters in the Bebe Rexha’s songwriting online competition, with her personal patronage. Also, Maksiuta won the label audition-competition, and then was invited to the university's (UMD) Terrapin Record Label as a guest artist singer-songwriter.

After graduating from the University of Maryland, Anastasia joined the Los Angeles Academy of Music and Production (LAAMP) under the mentorship of Stargate producers. She is currently based in Los Angeles, California, where she is dedicated to creating new music, collaborating with various artists, and performing.

Anastasia has always been inspired by the pop culture in general and artists such as Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, and others. Another inspiration for creating music is contemporary art - Andy Warhol, Jeff Koons, Damien Hirst, as well as Scriabin's idea of ​​colors, and music.
